On April 29^th, SPANISH MINEX 19 started with a coordinated departure from Mahon Harbor, with NRP Figueira da Foz being the ninth ship of the force to departure.

FRENCH MINE HUNTER JOINS EMF TG in the 40th activation of the European Maritime Forces

ESPS Segura integrates the EUROMARFOR mine warfare task group for the 40th activation since the foundation.

Italian Mine Hunter ITS RIMINI left hers homeport in Italy to join the EUROMARFOR mine counter measures task group. Is the 40^th time since hers foundation that and EUROMARFOR TG is activated.

Portuguese Fleet Commander in charge as Commander of European Maritime Forces (COMEUROMARFOR) hosted the meeting in Lisbon Naval Base

The second EUROMARFOR Sub Working Group meeting of this year was held  from the 20^th to the 22^nd of november  in Paris hosted by the French Defense General Staff. The meeting  was  attended by the EMFPC and  Navies General staff representatives coming from Italy, Portugal, Spain and France that chaired it.

The 19 september 2017 the Portuguese Navy Fleet Commander took over the command of the European Maritime Forces. After one year a load of activities were succesfully completed.

The EMF TG successfully completed the MCE with Islamic Republic of Mauritania and now is bound to Praia for a cooperation activity with Cape Verde Armed Forces

EMF Task Group is performing a proficuos cooperation activity in the framework of the Maritime Security during Multi-cooperative exercise 2018-1 (MCE 18-1).

COMEUROMARFOR, ViceAdmiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo visits EMF TG during the Multi-Cooperative Exercise 2018-1 in Islamic Republic of Mauritania

Completed the SWORDFISH 18 the EMF TG is approaching the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. During the transit FS Somme, ITS Scirocco, NRP Corte-Real and SPS Canarias will continue and intense training also wit the support of a French Navy Falcon 50 deployed in Dakar.

EMF Task Group completed the first part of the deployment at the endex of the portuguese exercise SWORDFISH 18

The portuguese exercise SWORDFISH 18 enters in its final stage with the tactical phase. The EMF TG is playing and hard training and will be visited by the COMEUROMARFOR.

On the 21^st  and 22^nd of  June, 2016,  the Political-Military Working Group (POLMIL WG) of the EUROFORCES was held in Paris, under the Italian  presidency, as Secretary nation of the Interministerial High Level Committee (CIMIN).

The EUROMARFOR TG  composed by NRP Corte-Real, FS Somme, ITS Scirocco and SPS Canarias, activates in Lisbon naval Base at the presence of the COMEUROMARFOR.

The EUROMARFOR task group integrated in the Lisbon Harbour to take part to SWORDFISH 18 and after a in port warm-up sailed in the Atlantic Ocean for an advanced training.
